REDIFFUSION believes in giving back to society. The company supports initiatives targeting the elderly and the infirm in Singapore. Over the years, we have worked with partners on projects and programmes to highlight and deal with the many issues affecting the unprivileged aged and sick in Singapore. 2006 REDIFFUSION worked with the National Crime Prevention Council to provide REDIFFUSION sets to 260 underprivileged elderly residents of one-room HDB flats in the Chinatown area, providing them with critical news and information that they otherwise have no access to. 2007 REDIFFUSION waived the subscription fees for its visually-handicapped subscribers. 2008 REDIFFUSION announced the sponsorship of 50 REDIFFUSION sets to infirmed beneficiaries under the care of the Home Nursing Foundation. REDIFFUSION sponsors a REDIFFUSION set to the Moral Welfare Home, which will be used as a form of therapeutic treatment through Chinese and dialect storytelling for its elderly destitute residents.
